Board Certifications Internal Medicine Education & Medical Training Dr. Rajiv Kinkhabwala was born in York, Pennsylvania and grew up in the central New Jersey town of East Brunswick. He graduated from Cornell University Phi Beta Kappawith a BA in Economics and worked for one year as a currency options trader before going on to medical school at the New York University School of Medicine. He then completed an Internal Medicine residency at NYU Medical Center/Bellevue and was selected Chief Resident. Prior to joining Weill Cornell, he practiced primary care medicine for close to 25 years in Manhattan as part of Murray Hill Medical Group/Caremount/Optum, where he served on their Executive Committee and as a managing director responsible for the ongoing operations of the practice. He lives in New Jersey with his wife and two daughters. |
